Whew.
What an insane and yet blessed summer. I have been moving non-stop since I arrived in San Diego, two months ago. I’ve completed almost 80 clinical hours, babysat all over San Diego county and had great adventures! One of these days I’ll tell you about all of them. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably been able to keep up pretty well.
Well I have a giveaway today, and in honor of that I’d like to tell you about one of the best birthdays I’ve had so far. In the past couple of years I’ve been inspired by friends who have done random acts of kindness on their birthday. There is now even a website revolving around this idea. If you want to be blessed and humbled on your birthday, bless others. It’s really the best.
I decided to pass out 27 roses for my 27th birthday. Some of them went to women who have helped shape who I am. The women who have poured into my life, given me wisdom and direction and prayed for me. The Lord has been so sweet to me to surround me with really incredible women.
Others went to sweet friends who I got to share my birthday with and who I am so grateful to share life with. The remainder of the roses were given to strangers. I told them they were beautiful and amazing. Words that don’t get said often enough.
It was one of my favorite birthdays yet. And to continue with the giveaways…I’d like to give you a GALLON of coconut oil! I just love this stuff!
