Austin Adventures and a Giveaway

From the time I moved to Abilene, EVERYONE has told me I need to visit Austin! And two of my favorite people live there, so as soon as I arrived back in Texas I was anxious to get down there.

IMG_2640Scott is one of my best friends from Biola! He and his beautiful wife, Elise, own Hey, Sweet Pea, an incredible branding business. I loved being in their sweet home, seeing where they work day in and day out (seriously it’s all so beautifully put together) and spending time with them and their puppies.

We ate some delicious food! Even being on Whole30 — I LOVED the foodie culture of Austin. Everything is local and fresh and unique! I want to visit every local restaurant in town! The tea photo was from Walton’s, Sandra Bullock’s Coffee and Floral shop. Sandra is my favorite and I just fell in love with her sweet little place.

We also spent time climbing, and hiking and swimming in the river! Austin is such a beautiful city, that doesn’t feel like Texas at all. Well, except for the heat.

I simply loved it. And let’s be honest, if I weren’t in grad school, I’d be back next week!

However, I AM back in grad school and my clinical placement started this week! I am starting to admit to myself that I really do love the school setting and love the little school I will be working with this semester.

To help myself stay stress-free this semester, I like to wind down with some stretching and yoga and this great little jar of goodness.

4-oz-moisturizing-cream-lavender-p11-thumb

This cream is perfect to massage on your shoulders or any sore area needing a little love. The cream is rich, but not greasy and the lavender is SO relaxing! And today is your lucky day, cause you can enter to win a jar!

You all know how much I love coconut oil. Have you heard of all the uses for this stuff? It’s insane!
