It’s here. 2014. I would say I’ve been waiting for this year for forever, but that wouldn’t be true. Only about 3 years. In just 126 days I will graduate with my Masters degree (Lord willing I pass my comprehensive exams that just arrived in my inbox). And then there’s moving (a few times), starting a new career, getting published for the first time and continuing to walk with my sweet Savior through this crazy life.
Honestly, I’m not sad 2013 is over. Remember at the end of 2012 when I told you that Lynnae and I had chosen a theme for the 2013 year? Embrace the Season! We quickly found out that it was a sure fire way to find ourselves in some difficult seasons. Oh but we grew! And we learned to find the blessings in those growing pains.
As we prayed about this next year, I really felt like God was revealing to me that it should be “Trust Without Borders.” Lynnae quickly pointed out to me that this one could be challenging, too. But we both agreed that it’s been the more challenging themes that cause us to grow. So “Trust Without Borders” it is! A lot will change this year and I know God can do crazy and impossible things.
A recipe will be coming to you, soon! It’s something purple. In the meantime, enjoy some 2013 highlights!
I bought my first pair of scrubs! Definitely not these though. I quickly learned there are petite scrub sizes!
